Cheats Guide To A Curly Blow

In an ideal world we’d all have a curly blow slave who would be there at our beck and call ready to make us look fabulous whenever we require. However, slavery was abolished some time ago so that’s nought but a pipe dream and I don’t know about you but I can’t afford a daily trip to the hairdressers. It’s a cruel, cruel world we live in isn’t it ladies? I thought I’d do a blog about what I do in between professional blow dries in order to stay looking ‘prin-tastic’.

Having 24″ extensions isn’t for the faint hearted. Yes, hair down to your bum looks amazing but it does require that extra bit of effort to keep it looking anywhere half decent. I heard about Enrapture rollers last year and got them for Xmas so I’ve been using them for over a year now. Previously I had used both Babyliss and Nicki Clarke heated rollers but they just don’t even compare. The difference is with Enrapture is that 1. They heat up extremely fast and 2. Not only is the roller itself heated but also the clip that holds the roller in is heated too so your hair gets heated from either side, meaning it stays in longer…even on really long hair like mine.

There are 20 rollers in the set; 10 large and 10 small. I use the large ones on the top of my head for a bigger volume of curl and the smaller ones on the main part of the extensions. As the hair is so heavy it pulls the smaller curl down anyway; so don’t worry you won’t end up with teeny tiny wool curls. It’s dead easy to use them, I just switch it on (takes about 60 seconds to heat up), put them in first thing in the morning before I’ve done my make up and then take them out just before I leave the house. I brush the curls through first and then separate with my fingers into the desired  curl size and voila….curly blow errr’day.

Both of those images are the results of heated rollers. I posted a link to the rollers being on sale at Boots and they sold old almost instantly so I’ve found them on amazon for the same price here

Happy curling!
