Wales: How To Do North Wales In Style

When you think of North Wales you tend to think of one of two things; either tacky caravan holidays in Rhyl and Talacre, all bingo, beer & arcades or camping in the middle of nowhere with no signal and no toilets. There is a third option though...
Trips abroad aren't always an option; maybe you have a fear of flying, maybe you're heavily pregnant, maybe you can't get the time off work or maybe you just can't afford it this year. If you want a luxurious, relaxing break without the flight then Tan Rallt near Abergele is just heaven sent.
The classy caravan park is anything but tacky. Children are welcome but it's not built around children so you won't find amusement arcades and play areas and screaming kids running round; instead you'll find gorgeous modern caravans and lodges (which are probably nicer than your house) and some of them even have their own hot tub and Wii console, so bring your games. It's open for 10 months of the year so whether you're after a summer break or you fancy a little Xmas break with some friends - the hot tub makes it perfect for all weathers.
We stayed in the Cliff Top Lodge, which if you're looking for privacy and views is perfect. It's right at the very top of the cliff (as the name suggests) and is overlooked by nobody - so if you like to celebrate naked Tuesdays then that's totally fine 😉. The weather was gorgeous and the views of the rolling Welsh hills in the sunshine was something else - I can imagine them covered in snow in winter and being just as fantastic. It has all the amenities you'd expect in a flat; two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, TV, living room, wii, sundeck, outdoor eating area, dining room, free wi-fi and of course a hot tub nestled in its own secret garden. You won't believe you're in Wales.

Whether you want a romantic break with your fella, a weekend away with your mates or even a classy hen do - Tan Rallt is a little bit boss and all less than 90 minutes drive from Liverpool. Nice.
